Precision Tyre Shredding,
Industrial-Scale Reliability.
Industrial Infrastructure
for Tyre Recycling
Globally, more than 1 billion end-of-life tyres are generated every year, creating one of the world’s fastest-growing and most challenging waste streams.
Khemco Rubber Products (KRP) was established to address this growing challenge in India by producing consistent, industrial-grade tyre chips used in downstream recovery processes such as pyrolysis, rubber manufacturing, and civil engineering applications.
Located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, the facility processes up to 150 metric tonnes of tyres per day, supplying stable feedstock to recycling industries.
Operational Priorities
Environmentally Responsible Waste Handling
Quality-Controlled Processing
Consistent Chip Sizing
Reliable Industrial-Scale Supply
Advanced Tyre Processing Technology
A multi-stage mechanical shredding system converts whole tyres into clean industrial feedstock.
Tyre
Intake
Inspection and sorting of incoming tyres.
Stage 1 Shredding
Whole tyres reduced to up to 150 mm rough shreds.
Stage 2
Shredding
Refined into uniform sizes varying from
0.1-100 mm.
Quality Control
Final inspection ensures consistent industrial feedstock.
Magnetic
Separation
Steel wire removed through magnetic systems.
The facility integrates high-torque shredders, conveyorised material handling, and magnetic steel recovery systems to achieve uniformity.

Reducing the Environmental Impact
of Tyre Waste
End-of-life tyres represent one of the most persistent waste streams globally. Improper disposal can result in landfill accumulation, fire hazards, and contamination of soil and groundwater.
Through responsible tyre processing, we convert waste tyres into reusable industrial feedstock, enabling efficient recovery of valuable materials and supporting a circular rubber economy.
